Watch: Paul Rudd Gets Called Out for His Career Failures on 'The Jack and Triumph Show'

By all accounts, Paul Rudd has had a pretty successful career. After achieving cult icon status early on with “Wet Hot American Summer” and “Clueless,” the likable Average Joe-type moved up to comedy hits like “The 40 Year Old Virgin,” “I Love You, Man,” “Role Models” and “Knocked Up” (not to mention his unforgettable roles on “Friends” and “Parks and Recreation”).

But that’s not what Triumph remembers. In the exclusive clip below, Triumph — a former ’70s & ’80s TV star who’s fallen on hard times — makes a mess of things for his ex-co-star Jack, who’s finally gotten back on the right track after being sucked down an ugly wormhole with Triumph. The two run into Paul Rudd at a coffee shop, and one of them (hint: the talking puppet) can’t let bygones be bygones, calling out Rudd’s movie star status after flops like “Wanderlust,” “This is 40” and “Admission.”

Take a look at the clip below and tune in for “The Jack and Triumph Show” at 11:30pm on Adult Swim.
