The non-fiction feature tells the story of the six Angulo brothers who turned to movies and filmmaking to experience life after their father confined them to their tenement apartment in New York City. While non-Sundance attendees will have to wait until later this year for Magnolia Pictures to distribute the documentary, curious cinephiles can get a sneak peak at what all the fuss is about courtesy of four new video “thank you notes” directed by and starring the Angulo brothers. In keeping with their Sundance success story, the brothers tackle some of biggest Sundance hits, from “The Blair Witch Project” to “Clerks,” “El Mariachi” and “The Usual Suspects,” in order to thank Sundance for their film’s award-winning run.
