"Manos Sucias," Josef Kubota Wladyka’s feature directorial debut, screened at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival, where it garnered the Best New Narrative Director and an Audience Award.
Executive produced by Spike Lee, "Manos Sucias" centers on two brothers as they travel up the Pacific coast of Colombia in a boat containing a torpedo filled with 100 kg of cocaine.
The film is slated to open in New York’s Cinema Village on April 3, followed by the Laemmle NoHo 7 in Los Angeles on April 10. Expansion to additional markets will follow.
