As “Mad Men” returns April 5 with its final seven episodes, it makes sense that AMC would want to roll out teasers for their next batch of hopeful successes. These 15 second previews spotlight the sci-fi drama “Humans,” martial arts series “Into the Badlands” and “The Walking Dead” spin-off “Fear the Walking Dead.”
“Humans” takes place in an alternate present where the latest tech-trend is a robotic servant called a Synth. It stars William Hurt and debuts this summer. “Fear the Walking Dead” acts as a companion series to “The Walking Dead,” beginning its story just as the virus first begins to spread. It also premieres this summer. And “Into the Badlands,” which premieres this fall, tells the story of a warrior and young boy searching for enlightenment in a land ruled by feudal barons. Hong Kong film star and martial arts filmmaker Daniel Wu stars and executive produces.
Do you think any of these shows can fill the void left by “Mad Men?” Watch these teasers and find out.
