Watch: Amy Poehler, Jenny Slate, Cameron Diaz Commemorate Int'l Women's Day with 'Not There' PSA

“We’re not there yet” is the message of a new ad from the Clinton Foundation that was released on International Women’s Day.

Amy Poehler, Jenny Slate, Cameron Diaz, Sienna Miller, and Padma Lakshmi participate — but don’t appear — in a funny and informative PSA about women’s stalled progress. Their voices help illustrate the eerily empty world we live in as far as girls and women are concerned, literalizing the disappearance of females from public view and prominence (as in the movies, for example).

They offer four statistics about women today — about education, employment, maternity leave, and early marriage — and encourage viewers to “explore more data” at the No Ceilings site. Part of that data will undoubtedly be included in the official No Ceilings report on women’s leadership in business and government, released today by Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, who were joined by Gates Foundation Co-Chair Melinda Gates, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai.
