In films like "Birdman," "Lucy" and even the "X-Men" franchise, adults use special powers to move objects with their minds, usually to somewhat disastrous results. "Little Boy" is more "Matilda" than any of these, endowing the titular little boy with telekinesis just after his father leaves to fight in World War II. With his newly discovered abilities, the support of his family and his faith in himself, the little boy is willing to do whatever it takes to bring his father home, even if it means ending the war itself.
"Little Boy" stars Tom Wilkinson, Emily Watson and Kevin James. Released by Open Road Films, it opens on April 24.
