Inspired by real events that took place in 1976, "In The Name of My Daughter" tells the story of how a young woman’s romance with a man ten years her senior threatens to tear apart her family and destroy the casino business owned by her mother. Adèle Haenel appears in the main role of Agnes while Catherine Deneuve and Guillaume Canet play Agnes’ mother Renee and her lover Maurice, respectively. The film world premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Cohen Media Group will release "In The Name of My Daughter" in New York on May 15. A wider release to top markets will follow.
