In case you were worried “The Comedians” may be a little too soft around the edges — especially considering Billy Crystal’s last hosting performance at the Oscars — don’t fret. Crystal seems to be firing on all cylinders in his first regular TV role since “Saturday Night Live” in 1985, and his new pal Josh Gad is right there with him.
In a series of new trailers and teases released for the heavily promoted new series, Crystal and Gad share more of the series’ makeup, including talking directly to the camera as well as being filmed in the day-to-day production of their new series. “The Comedians” premieres April 9 at 10pm on FX.
