National Board of Review Reveals 2015 Awards Dates

The over 105-year-old National Board of Review will unveil 2015 winners on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Their annual awards gala will fall on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Cipriani 42n Street in New York City.

Once again NBC’s Willie Geist will host. Awards include Best Picture, Best Director, Best Performances, Best Ensemble, Breakthrough Performance, Directorial Debut and Spotlight Award as well as signature honors such as the William K. Everson Award for Film History, Freedom of Expression, and Special Achievement in Filmmaking.

This “select” group of film enthusiasts, whoever they are, look at over 250 films a year at screenings followed by Q&As. Last year they threw their weight behind JC Chandor’s “A Most Violent Year.”
