"Players Get Played" in New Oxygen Series Premiering Wednesday, June 10

Another surefire hit, I’m sure, for Oxygen, aka the reality TV cesspool…

The game is over…when Oxygen Media debuts the new series “Player Gets Played” on Wednesday, June 10 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Each episode follows one woman with a lurking suspicion as she uncovers the heartbreaking reality that she is not the only love in her boyfriend’s life. After discovering the truth with the help of social media and friends, the ladies join together without letting the “player” in on their plan and plot a surprising reveal designed to teach him a lesson. A sneak peek of the new series is embedded below.

“‘Player Gets Played’ takes a look at women who unite on a journey to reclaim their hearts and power,” said Rod Aissa, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media. “From heartbreak to major soul searching, each episode will share relatable journeys that connect women to each other, which is a key ingredient to an Oxygen show and resonates profoundly with our viewers.”

In the series premiere, Emily has given all of her love to R&B singer boyfriend, Elijah, but when she learns he’s also sung his way into the hearts of two other women, the trio come together to confront him.

“Player Gets Played” is produced by DiGa with Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley and Cheryl Horner Sirulnick serving as Executive Producers. Concept by Jessica Antonini, Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley.
