The winning filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and will become a candidate for the April Project of the Month. That winner will be awarded with a creative consultation from the fine folks at the Tribeca Film Institute and will be in the running for Project of the Year.
The four projects up for this week’s Project of the Week are listed below (with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers). You can vote at the bottom of the page.
The Genderton Project: An LGBT gender-reversing comedy series that’s like “The Hours” meets “Portlandia.”
One More Shot: Emotional, raw documentary about an ordinary couple struggling to create a family when the old fashioned way doesn’t work and how we make modern families.
From Mass to the Mountain: A documentary about a rural community in Panama that is plagued by drought and contaminated water sources but receives help from an unlikely source.
King of Peking: Rather than get mad when our last movie was bootlegged, we went out to make a movie about bootlegging.
Voting ends Monday, April 20 at 11 a.m. ET.
