The Film Independent at LACMA recently hosted a screening of “Mad Men,” featuring a Q&A with star Jon Hamm and creator Matthew Weiner, hosted by The Treatment’s Elvis Mitchell. Don’t worry if you missed it, though — we’ve got the highlights.
In the clip above, Hamm compares the difficulties of acting to lead mining, and talks about Don Draper’s struggle with aging; he has “staked his career on adapting,” says Hamm, but ultimately Don is a man who doesn’t change easily.
Hamm made one particularly shocking reveal: “Bjork was originally going to be Peggy,” he deadpanned to raucous laughter. “You can laugh, but she was amazing!”
