Members of “The Walking Dead” team appeared at The National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas on April 14 — the panel, entitled “More of What You Crave: The World of ‘The Walking Dead,'” aimed to provide an insider’s perspective to the highly successful show.

Moderated by Michael Schneider of TV Guide, the panel consisted of cast member Steven Yeun, executive producer and “The Walking Dead” comic book creator Robert Kirkman and AMC President Charlie Collier. In the clip above, we see the panelists share why they believe “The Walking Dead” is such a massive success. They also discuss why fans connect with the show so deeply (maybe too deeply?) as Robert Kirkman shares a hilarious story about discovering fans waiting for him on set.

“Walking Dead” companion series “Fear the Walking Dead” premieres this summer.
