The documentary gathers the likes of Amy Schumer, Jimmy Fallon, Larry David and many more as they discuss their upbringing, careers and relationships to comedy.
Pollak, a prolific actor and comedian himself, joined Indiewire’s Nigel Smith at the Apple Store in Soho, Manhattan for one of Apple and Indiewire’s Tribeca Talks to talk about the film, from the personalities assembled to the stories shared to even the mixed reviews to come out in the past few weeks. In a short clip posted above, the director shares his insights on the difference between acting and stand-up comedy — a difference, he says, which is actually quite massive.
