Watch: Michael Imperioli On Why You Shouldn't Idolize Mob Characters

The Wannabe” made its world premiere at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival and director Nick Sandow, who plays Joe Caputo on “Orange is the New Black,” stars Michael Imperioli, Vincent Piazza and producers Michael Gasparro and Lizzie Nastro stopped by the Apple Store in Soho, Manhattan, for one of Indiewire and Apple’s Tribeca talks

The film follows Thomas (Piazza) and Rose (Patricia Arquette) as they attempt to integrate themselves into a neighborhood where mob-ties and social currency go hand in hand.  In the above clip, Imperioli discusses how fans idolize mob characters, and why “The Wannabe” is more of a psychological portrait of a disturbed person than a typical mob movie.
