“Star Wars Rebels” is the hit animated sequel/prequel from executive producer Dave Filoni, who was also responsible for “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Freddie Prince Jr. voices Kanan, a Jedi who puts away the lightsaber in favor of a blaster and starship. It also stars Vanessa Marshall as Hera, Steve Blum as Zeb and Taylor Gray as Ezra.
The show takes place between Episodes III and IV, and follows Kanan and the rest of a misfit starship crew who battle the evil Empire, which is determined to rid the galaxy of what’s left of the Jedi.
