Was the idea of waiting all the way until January to see what Lee Daniels, Danny Strong and company had in store for the second season of massive hit “Empire” stressing you out? Fear not! Fox has announced its fall schedule, and Cookie’s coming back early… and for an expanded 18 episode season, no less. It’ll also be staying put Wednesdays at 9pm.
Also of note: The very expected fall debut of Ryan Murphy’s “Scream Queens,” which is sure to be at the very least camptastic. The first season of the planned anthology series focuses on the Kappa sorority at Wallace University, led by Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts), that is threatened by dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis); leading “to events that reignites a 20-year old murder mystery, with the reemergence of the Red Devil.” The cast also includes Lea Michele, Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande, Keke Palmer and Abigail Breslin…
