Watch: First 'Steve Jobs' Teaser Stars Fassbender, Winslet, Rogen and Daniels

Universal shared a first glimpse of Danny Boyle’s “Steve Jobs” during last night’s series finale of “Mad Men.” Watch the teaser below.

Written by Aaron Sorkin, the long-gestating film stars Michael Fassbender as the titular Apple mogul, alongside Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels. Sorkin has apparently written a 181-page, three-act screenplay that spans 16 years. The film passed from director to director, and studio to studio, like a hot potato before finally landing at Universal.

“Steve Jobs” launches in theaters October 9. (Conspiracy alert: Could “Steve Jobs” open the New York Film Festival? In the “Mad Men” finale, Peggy was seen with the second annual poster hanging on her wall, and it got me thinking this could happen. This year, NYFF runs September 25 to October 11.)
