Following its premiere at last year’s Los Angeles Film Festival, Nathan Silver’s “Uncertain Terms” was warmly received by critics, receiving immense praise for its nuanced depiction of uncomfortable situations. The film follows Robbie, a philandering husband who, after fleeing his failing marriage, takes up residence in his aunt’s makeshift home for pregnant teenagers. His presence is welcome at first, but the situation starts to sour as he grows close with one of the young girls.
The exclusive clip at the top of this page will give you a taste of how Silver masterfully orchestrates the tension Robbie stirs up in the house.
Breaking Glass Pictures will release “Uncertain Terms” theatrically in New York on May 29 and Los Angeles on June 5, followed by a release on DVD and VOD come July.
