Tribeca Film Institute’s TFI Documentary Fund has opened the 2015 application period and will be accepting project submissions June 15 through August 3.

In addition to receiving a monetary grant ranging between $25,000 and $50,000, recipients will be provided with year-round support from TFI and The Orchard. Per a press release announcing the new partnership between The Orchard and the TFI Documentary Fund, grantees will be given the opportunity “to discuss the potential for exclusivity agreements for North American theatrical and/or digital distribution” with The Orchard.

Since launching in 2011, the TFI Documentary Fund has supported 39 projects, including “The Wolfpack,” winner of the 2015 U.S. Documentary Grand Jury Prize, and festival circuit favorite “Meet the Patels.”

Grantees will be announced this fall at a date that has yet to be determined. For more information on the rules and regulations, click here. Good luck!
