The HBO documentary "Larry Kramer In Love & Anger" will debut on the network June 29th, but we have an exclusive, powerful clip of the legendary activist and playwright discussing what it was like during the onset of the AIDS epidemic in New York City.
"We cried an awful lot because there were always these stories and yet at the same time, more and more people were coming to help us and it was ironic that there was so much love and so much satisfaction," Kramer says in the clip. "We all felt like we were well-used. That we were out there fighting the fight.
