“X-Men: Apocalypse” is now filming, but if you need a serving of mutant madness to hold you over until next year, in just a couple of weeks 20th Century Fox will be dropping the much buzzed about “X-Men: Days Of Future Past — The Rogue Cut.” It’s a bit remarkable that a movie that essentially has ten or so more minutes of Rogue is generating this much buzz, but it likely speaks to just how well Bryan Singer‘s was received and how fans want to see more.
And so, EW has dropped a little taste with a clip from the movie’s new cut, which will be screened at San Diego Comic-Con before hitting home video. In the scene, we see Shawn Ashmore’s Bobby, along with Magneto, rescuing Rogue from Cerebro where she’s being experimented on by scientists. And it’s crosscut with young Magneto, played by Michael Fassbender, getting his badass helmet back.
“X-Men: Days Of Future Past — The Rogue Cut” hits stores on July 14th.
