ScreenCraft has begun to accept script submissions for the 2015 edition of its annual Action/Thriller Screenplay Contest.
Scripts must be feature length, but no longer than 140 pages in length. First and second place winners will each receive a cash prize ($1500 for first place, $500 for second place), as well as a phone consultation with a top literary manager in Hollywood. Top 10 finalists will have their scripts submitted to ScreenCraft’s industry network of agents, managers, producers and studio executives.
The first place winner will receive the added bonus of a separate professional phone consultation with “Die Hard” screenwriter Steven E. de Souza, who also sits on this year’s contest jury. Other jury members include Tanner Mobley, a creative executive at Nu Image (“Olympus Has Fallen,” “The Expendables”); producer Adi Shankar (“Lone Survivor,” “The Grey”); Cameron Jewell, a development executive at Ombra (“Unknown,” “Run All Night”); and screenwriter Michael Colleary (“Lara Croft: Tom Raider,” “Face/Off”).
