Sundance Offers New Resource Tool for Female Filmmakers

The Female Filmmakers Initiative has introduced its new project in support of women media artists. The Female Filmmakers Initiative Resource Map is a comprehensive, user-friendly, searchable database that includes over 150 programs, events, workshops and services in the United States aimed to help female artists achieve their visions. This Resource Map will make it easier for a growing community of women artists to take advantage of these opportunities.

Lots of fruitful resources can be found in this database, which categorizes its contents into four groups:

-Resource Type: funding, fellowship, pitching forum, workshop, distribution, among many others. 

-Platforms: Film, TV, Commercials, Digital, among others.

-Location: Sundance, Los Angeles, Online, International, among many others. 

-Artist Type: Directors, Writers, Students, Cinematographers, among others.
