Brad Coley’s (“The Undeserved”) second feature film tells a multigenerational saga through the eyes of Clair, (Rachel Miner) a 33-year-old New Yorker who decides to return to her childhood home in New England for the first time since fleeing after the mysterious death of her mother. As she reencounters locals and her family’s murky history, Clair realizes that secrecy pervades her small town, mostly through Cyrus Gast (William Sadler), a local bigwig whose revitalization plans for the town are not what they seem to be.
Watch in the clip above as Clair confronts Cryus’ son, Frank Byron (Andy Comeau,) and finds that she has more in common with him than she thought.
The thriller co-stars Rachel Miner (“Supernatural”), William Sadler (“The Shawshank Redemption”), Chris Sarandon (“The Nightmare Before Christmas”) and Andy Comeau (“Huff”).
“Frank the Bastard” opens in New York, Los Angeles and digitally on July 24.
