There’s no date yet for the U.S. release of Werner Herzog‘s “Queen Of The Desert,” but with the domestic distributor Atlas unveiling an epic, 3-minute-plus new trailer, we imagine one is just around the corner. This promo is the best look yet at the sweeping period piece from the filmmaker, which is something different than we’re used to from the auteur.

A true story of the life of British explorer and adventurer, Gertrude Bell, QUEEN OF THE DESERT chronicles her journeys of love and loss in the Middle East during the early 20th century.
