Tobias Lindholm continues to expand his war-driven filmography with his second feature, “A War.” The writer-turned-director explores the effects of war through Claus Michael Pederson (Pilou Asbaek,) a company commander stationed in Afghanistan with a wife and family in Denmark. When Claus is caught in heavy Taliban crossfire, he makes a life-changing decision in order to save his men and is accused of committing a war crime when he returns to Denmark.

The drama has been selected to play in the Orrizonti section of the Venice Film Festival
