Reuniting after the critical success of “Frances Ha,” Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig seem to be in top form once again in the upcoming “Mistress America.” With only a couple weeks left before the generational comedy opens in select theaters, a new clip has been released that teases Gerwig’s hyper-talkative and lovable socialite, Brooke.

The official synopsis reads: “Tracy (Lola Kirke) is a lonely college freshman in New York, having neither the exciting university experience nor the glamorous metropolitan lifestyle she envisioned. But when she is taken in by her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Greta Gerwig) – a resident of Times Square and adventurous gal about town – she is rescued from her disappointment and seduced by Brooke’s alluringly mad schemes.”

Fox Searchlight Pictures opens “Mistress America” on August 14. Watch the new clip above.
