One movie that didn’t make its way to San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend was Paramount‘s “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation.” Perhaps the spy franchise didn’t want to rub elbows with “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,” maybe Tom Cruise is being more selective about publicity post-“Going Clear,” or maybe Paramount already feels confident enough about the movie that it doesn’t need to do that one final, fanboy-baiting push.
A new, pretty dazzling stunt featurette for the movie has landed today, once again highlighting Christopher McQuarrie‘s ability to capture Cruise going to the limit for every single, solitary member of the audience. Thrills will be in plentiful supply for Ethan Hunt’s latest adventure, and for that plane stunt, as you’ll see below, Cruise really did hang off its side, way way way up in the air. Here’s the official synopsis:
Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.
‘Rogue Nation’ opens on July 31st. Watch below, along with a bunch of new TV spots.
