READ MORE: Sundance Review: Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig’s ‘Mistress America’ is an Endearing Screwball Comedy

Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig’s new collaboration comes in the form of “Mistress America,” where a budding friendship between two new stepsisters, played by Gerwig and Lola Kirke, gives way to a handful of screwball adventures. In the clip below, the sisters take advice from “spirit,” easily buying into its suggestions of paying Gerwig’s arch nemesis a visit.

The official synopsis reads: “Tracy (Kirke) is a lonely college freshman in New York, having neither the exciting university experience nor the glamorous metropolitan lifestyle she envisioned. But when she is taken in by her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Gerwig) – a resident of Times Square and adventurous gal about town – she is rescued from her disappointment and seduced by Brooke’s alluringly mad schemes.”

“Mistress America” hits theaters August 14. Check out the comical clip, courtesy of The Huffington Post
