Robert Longstreet, known for starring in “The Catechism Cataclysm” and being featured in “Ain’t Them Bodies Saints” and “Take Shelter.” embodies the loneliness of a late bloomer in “The Missing Girl.”
The synopsis reads: “‘The Missing Girl’ tells the story of Mort, the lonely and disillusioned owner of a comic book shop, and Ellen, the emotionally disruptive, aspiring graphic novelist he’s hired. The story involves the search for a girl who isn’t missing and the discovery that it’s never too late for late bloomers.”
The film also stars Alexia Rasmussen, Eric Laden, Thomas Jay Ryan, Shirley Knight, Kevin Corrigan and Sonja Sohn. “The Missing Girl” will have its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival in the Vanguard section.
