Fox’s “Empire” broke the billboard charts with an exciting and music-filled Season 1. Upon attracting a large following, there is a lot at stake for the second season of Lee Daniels’ hit show. Despite Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) declaring, “Game over,” the Season 2 trailer reveals that the game has just begun.
With the mastermind of Empire Records behind bars, the future of the company is uncertain. The central plot of the new season circles around Andre’s (Trai Byers) attempts to remove his father from the CEO position. Andre’s mother, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), joins his team while the sibling rivalry between Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) gets intense.
