Momentum Pictures has acquired North American distribution rights to TIFF drama “Forsaken,” starring Donald and Kiefer Sutherland and directed by Jon Cassar. This will be the first film in which both father and son have starred together.
Kiefer Sutherland plays John Henry Clayton, a gunslinger who heads back to Wyoming in order to reconnect with his preacher father, played by Donald Sutherland. However, when bandits terrorize local ranchers and force them to sell their land to the railroad companies, John Henry decides to take a stand, despite the protests of his father.
“Forsaken” also stars Brian Cox, Greg Ellis, Michael Wincott and Aaron Poole. The film is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 16.
