The Telluride Film Festival has ended and the Toronto International Film Festival has begun. In other words, we’re watching a whole lot of new movies change things up: Awards season is off and running, and so are the distributors, eager to discover new product. Then there’s the stuff that doesn’t figure into either of those categories.
In this week’s Screen Talk, Eric Kohn and Anne Thompson look through the Toronto lineup while reviewing Telluride to get a sense for where they stand.
