Vote for Project of the Week: Will It Be 'Slash,' 'Queen Anne's Lace,' or 'Prodigal Daughter'?

The winning filmmaker will become a candidate for September Project of the Month. That winner will be in the running for Project of the Year.

The projects up for this week’s Project of the Week are listed below, with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers. You can vote at the bottom of the page. (As we did not have a Project of the Day on Labor Day, there are three possible choices instead of the usual four.)

Slash: An intelligent comedy about an awkward teenage boy named Neil, whose taboo fan fiction is discovered by his peers.

Queen Anne’s Lace: A poet impulsively leaves her husband and daughter in NYC and immerses herself into an enclave of artists in the Appalachian Mountains, NC. When she falls for a local female kayak instructor, things get complicated.

Prodigal Daughter: A Peruvian-American artist conquers immigration hardship, trauma, and family isolation in this epic story of healing and reconciliation.

Voting will end Monday, September 14 at 11 a.m. ET.
