In “Kermit Gets Set Up,” the lovable, green Muppet dines with his ex, Miss Piggy for the first time since their much-publicized breakup to discuss their upcoming show “The Muppets” on ABC. Despite the fact that Kermit’s reportedly got a new lady pig in his life named Denise — or Dennis as someone kindly calls her — this light clip suggests that shenanigans between the will they/won’t they couple are not done just yet.

“Modern Family” actress Julie Bowen and “How to Get Away with Murder’s” Viola Davis make cameos in the clip to welcome the pair into the ABC family. Meanwhile, Joel McHale is on hand to deliver some not-so-subtle product placement, correcting Kermit that it is in fact “easy to be green” with Audi’s new hybrid car.

The 67th Emmy Awards will air this Sunday on Fox. “The Muppets” premiers on ABC September 22. Check out “Kermit Gets Set Up” above, complete with Muppet bloopers.
