Justin Kurzel’s Michael Fassbender-starring and Palme d’Or-nominated "Macbeth" is ready to go to battle with a stunning new trailer. The Cannes favorite features Fassbender as the titular power-mad man who would be king, with Marion Cotillard co-starring as his scheme-loving wife Lady Macbeth. The two conspire to get Macbeth installed on the throne (no matter the cost) in Kurzel’s bold and inventive take on Shakespeare’s classic drama.
The Weinstein Company will release the film on December 4.
