READ MORE: Watch: Tom Hiddleston on the Art of Villainy in New Jaguar Ad
Tom Hiddleston tackles American music history with his role
as legendary singer-songwriter Hank Williams in Marc Abraham’s “I Saw the
Light.” The film will hit the Toronto International Film Festival
tomorrow, and Hiddleston has dropped a new clip on Twitter to tease at what’s to come. The scene is 60 blissful seconds of Hiddleston’s Williams singing “Move it On
Over,” and it also introduces Elizabeth Olsen as Audrey Williams.
No one can really match Williams’s unique twang, but Hiddleston does a pretty damn good job. “I Saw the Light” is based on Colin Escott’s “Hank Williams: The Biography,” and will
premiere at this year’s Toronto Independent Film Festival.
The film is scheduled for release on November 27. Take a
look at the clip below.
