We’re Getting a Gay ‘Hart To Hart’ Remake

We're Getting a Gay 'Hart To Hart' Remake

NBC is remaking late 70s/early 80s TV series "Hart To Hart," which normally we couldn’t care less about — except that there’s a gay twist! A as-yet-uncast gay couple will replace good ol’ Stefanie Powers and Robert Wagner, who starred in the original as a couple who solved murders in between romantic getaways.

The new "Hart to Hart" will come from writer Christopher Fife ("Revenge") and would follow lawyer Jonathan Hart and "free-spirited" investigator Dan Hartman as husbands who solve crime on the side. Could be great or could be awful (see almost all network shows with gay leads lately), but at the very least its nice to see another LGBT series en route.
