Bounce TV – the nation’s fastest-growing television network designed for African American audiences – continued its ratings climb in the third quarter of 2015, announcing today that it set network records for viewership and the delivery of key targeted demographic audiences in both Primetime and Total Day, with September becoming the network’s most-watched month ever.
The third quarter was Bounce TV’s fourth consecutive quarter of growth. Additionally, Bounce TV beat BET multiple times in 3Q15, and in September during both Prime and Total Day – according to the press release from Bounce.
Helping fuel the network’s strong quarterly performance was the first season of the original series “In The Cut” starring Dorien Wilson and Jackee Harry. The show was an instant hit and has become the most-watched original series in Bounce TV’s history, averaging 259,000 Households, 148,000 A18-49 (Adults 18-49), 143,000 A25-54 and 345,000 Total Viewers across all premiere telecasts.
Season three of another hit Bounce TV series, “Family Time,” starring Omar Gooding and Angell Conwell, now takes over “In The Cut’s” time slot, premiering Tues. Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. ET.
Bounce TV airs on the digital broadcast signals of local television stations and corresponding cable carriage and features a programming mix of original and off-network series, theatrical motion pictures, specials, live sports and more.
