Savannah Film Festival Announces 2015 Lineup and Honorees Meg Ryan and Olivia Wilde

The Savannah Film Festival has announced the rest of its film lineup for its 2015 series, as well as the honorees for their Spotlight, Lifetime Achievement and Rising Star Awards.

Olivia Wilde will be presented with the Spotlight Award on opening night for her contributions in films like “Meadowland,” which has been added as a gala screening at the festival, “Her” and “Drinking Buddies.” Meg Ryan, whose directorial debut “Ithica” screens at the festival, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for her work on films like “When Harry Met Sally” and “Sleepless in Seattle.” Lastly, Alfie Allen will be awarded the Rising Star Award for his appearances in HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and “Atonement.” 

The festival has also announced “An Evening With Saoirse Ronan,” gala screenings including “Meadowland” and “Spotlight,” and Docs to Watch, Conversation Series and Competition screenings. Read the lineup below.
