Vote for Project of the Week: Will It Be 'Expecto Patron,' 'Here Alone,' 'Pioneers in Skirts,' or 'I Used to Be Normal'?

The winning filmmaker will become a candidate for October Project of the Month. That winner will be in the running for Project of the Year.

The four projects up for this week’s Project of the Week are listed below (with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers). You can vote at the bottom of the page.

Expecto Patron: A Brooklyn based aspiring performer Rachel Reese, AKA “DJ Expecto Patron,” continues to blame her misfortune on an undiagnosed brain tumor – instead of realizing the truth: She’s actually a wizard.

Here Alone: A young woman struggles to survive on her own in the wake of a mysterious epidemic that has decimated society and forced her deep into the unforgiving wilderness.

Pioneers in Skirts: An honest look at the setbacks women face in their careers and the solutions to overcome them – through the eyes of the women experiencing them now and the women and men trying to change it. A film made by women, for women and supported by women and men.

I Used to Be Normal: A documentary for and about fangirls, exploring the pains and pleasures of loving a boyband, as a teenager and beyond.

Voting will end Monday, October 26 at 11 a.m. ET.
