READ MORE: Review: ‘Goosebumps’ Starring Jack Black
Jack Black has appeared in plenty of dramatic fare lately — other than the kid-friendly comedy, “Goosebumps,” in theaters now — but he made his name as a comedian, so it’s only natural to wonder why he never joined “Saturday Night Live.” Turns out, he skipped his audition.
In exclusive clips from his appearance on “Off Camera with Sam Jones,” Black talks about deciding against an “SNL” career path and gives a taste of what he would have done had he auditioned. Black also remembers the moment he discovered he had a “Lamborghini” voice and sings a few bars from “Pippin.”
“Off Camera with Sam Jones” airs on DirecTV’s Audience Network. Watch the exclusive clip above (and more footage below).
