Is there anything Xavier Dolan can’t do? Less than a week after the director helped break the internet by helping Adele’s 100 million-views-and-counting video for “Hello,” news comes that he’ll be heading to late night television in his native Quebec.
The Huffington Post Quebec has an exclusive saying Dolan could potentially make a leap to television by contributing to a French-language late night show as a writer and performer. Part talk show, part sketch show — the series’ pilot will be shot in the coming weeks. Dolan compared the humor of the potential series to Key & Peele and Amy Schumer.
Fabrice Laroche, who behind the concept of a show announced the news to The Huffington Post but refused to confirm whether negotiations with broadcasters were ongoing. Read more about the show here (in French).
