It’s a busy month on Netflix as the streaming platform unveils a crowded slate of new programming including Aziz Ansari‘s comedy series “Master Of None” (which launches tomorrow), the return of Bob Odenkirk and David Cross with “W/ Bob And David,” but perhaps the biggest of them all is Marvel‘s new show, “Jessica Jones.” We’re just a couple of weeks away and big batch of new images have arrived.
As per usual, there is always a question about how “faithful” an adaptation of a comic is to the source material, but Krysten Ritter believes they found the right balance. “We have some lines that are pulled from the comics, but then the script…she’s as developed for television as she is in the comics and the scripts are fucking fantastic,” she told Collider last month. “You have someone like Mel [Rosenberg], arguably one of the hottest, most established female writers in history, next to her sensibility and her integrity for writing for a female character, I mean, it was all there. And then what I did was just go in a start building and bringing what I can and getting to know the character so well that anything you do is gonna be right.”
“Jessica Jones” arrives on November 20th. Check out the pics below plus an interview with Ritter and Carrie-Ann Moss from The Guardian.
