Disney Channel will debut a new episode of its Emmy
Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” shorts called “¡Feliz Cumpleaños!“ in honor of Mickey’s
birthday on Wednesday November 18th (8:00 p.m., ET/PT). Entirely in Spanish, the episode features Danny Trejo (“Machete”)
as a Piñata Boss who, along with his piñata crew, is determined to ruin
Mickey’s birthday party. Mickey, his señorita Minnie and their friends must find
a way to stop the piñatas from ruining the celebration.
“¡Feliz Cumpleaños!” was
directed and storyboarded by Mexico City native and multiple Emmy Award-winner Alonso
Ramirez Ramos. In addition to winning an individual achievement Emmy Award for
storyboarding on Disney’s “Gravity Falls,” Ramirez Ramos storyboarded
the 2014 Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” short “O Sole Minnie.”
