As the rallying cry of “Where’s Luke?” booms forth anytime any bit of new material is released from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” it’s clear that J.J. Abrams and co. want to keep the next chapter in Luke Skywalker’s life under lock and key for now. And Mark Hamill himself has revealed that he’s contractually bound not to spill one word about the movie, though he notes that he’s no rookie when it comes to guarding key plot details.
“I have something coming out where there’s an amount of money that I don’t get that if anything leaks because of me. If I keep it a secret until it comes out, I get that payment,” he told PC Gamer about the non-disclosure agreement he signed. “I’m good about keeping secrets, I’m proud of the fact that I knew a year and a half before anybody else that [Darth Vader] was actually dad Vader [in ‘The Empire Strikes Back‘]….Now it’s happening all over again. I’m not even authorized to tell you I’m in ‘Episode VII.’ It’s all secret.”
Meanwhile, an officially authorized, not secret new image of Kylo Ren played by Adam Driver has debuted online via Empire. An ally of Supreme Leader Snoke and part of the First Order, he’s also a rabid devotee of the late Darth Vader.
