Another week, another set of movies to complicate the fall season: Angelina Jolie’s “By the Seaopened AFI FEST on Thursday night, and while reviews are mixed, the film itself opens up fascinating questions about the state of filmmaking in Hollywood today. Meanwhile, new trailers for “Star Wars” and Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq” remind us that more is yet to come.
