How does Nick Offerman prepare to play his literary doppelganger Ignatius J. Reilly from Pulitzer Prize-winning “A Confederacy of Dunces?” In this funny bit that showcases Offerman’s trademark deadpan, he offers his favorite meats to “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon.
The “Parks and Recreation” alumni illustrates his meticulous diet with his tailgating special: a bratwurst and “salad” (Wisconsin cheese curds), accompanied by single malt scotch. Offerman hilariously educates Fallon on the “Turducken” which is described by Offerman as a “chicken carcass, inserted into a duck carcass, which is then shoved into a turkey.”
The highlight of the clip isJimmy Fallon and Nick Offerman share a baked bread with a giant kielbasa, as they recreate the classic spaghetti scene from “Lady and the Tramp.”
In addition, there’s more hilarious Nick Offerman from last night’s “The Tonight Show,” as he tells us what he really thinks about Oprah’s favorite things. Watch below.
