Charlotte Rampling to Receive Eight-Film Retrospective at NYC's IFC Center

Charlotte Rampling, whose transfixing performance in the marriage drama “45 Years” has made her a staple in the best-actress conversations this awards season, is about to show the film world that she’s always been an amazing actress.

Helping out will be Manhattan’s IFC Center, which will mount an eight-film retrospective of her half-century career from January 8 to March 6.

“45 Years” opens December 23. Here are the eight films the IFC Center will revisit:

“Georgy Girl,” dir. Silvio Narizzano (1966)

“The Night Porter,” dir. Liliana Cavani (1974)

“Farewell, My Lovely,” dir. Dick Richards (1975)

“Stardust Memories,” dir. Woody Allen (1980)

“The Verdict,” dir. Sidney Lumet (1982)

“The Cherry Orchard,” dir. Michael Cacoyannis (1999)

“Under the Sand,” dir. François Ozon (2000)

“Heading South,” dir. Laurent Cantet (2005)
